In spring 2018, we started a cross-departmental process across the 5+1 laboratories of the department and the research groups <\/strong>involved in the project.<\/p>

The challenge was to systemise existing resources, to complete and update them<\/strong>, and establish which new equipment needed to be purchased.<\/p>

The first equipment list outlines the planned purchases over several years<\/strong>: in the first year is \u20ac286,571, two items of equipment worth more than \u20ac40,000 have been included in the University’s two-year purchasing plan and are being put out to tender in the coming months.<\/p>

A second list outlining equipment needs gathered by research <\/strong>fellows (hardware, software, databases, photographic and document storage tools), discussed and assessed with department technicians was decided in the CdD of 14 March 2019.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
