SEMINARIO ONLINE

Research on spatial and landscape planning issues in mountain contexts

The seminar is part of a PhD research project (UPDP programme) and aims at investigating the issues concerning the landscape planning and project as tools able to face the fragilities affecting the contemporary alpine landscape. During the seminar, alpine landscape fragilities are discussed in relation to the perspectives for the governance of the heterogeneous mountain context characterised by shrinking and abandonment phenomena and increasing and overuse dynamics. In this frame, spatial and landscape planning and project are investigated as tools to address strategies and actions to overcome the fragilities affecting the landscape and to protect, enhance and regenerate the mountain contexts.
